MORBIUS Movie Confirmed for Summer 2020 Release
After the huge success of Venom, Sony Pictures is wasting no time in expanding its new franchise. The studio previously set release dates for two untitled Marvel movies in 2020. Now, we know what the first one will be.
Morbius, starring Jared Leto as the Living Vampire, will hit theaters on July 31st, 2020. The film was originally scheduled for July 10th, but was pushed back three weeks. As a result of the move, the film will take advantage of an uneventful August. Therefore, the July 10th date is now taken by the new Ghostbusters film.
Morbius will co-star Adria Arjona and Matt Smith. Daniel Espinosa will direct from a script by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. Production is expected to begin in February.
Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
