SON OF BATMAN Trailer Released; Voice Cast And More Details Announced

DC’s second animated movie of 2014 is Son of Batman, which adapts Grant Morrison’s 2006 story arc “Batman and Son”. That storyline brought Damian Wayne, the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul, into the DC Universe. Now, the film has been officially announced. Set to be released on DVD, Blu-Ray and digital download in the spring, the movie will also premiere at WonderCon over Easter weekend.
In Son of Batman, Jason O’Mara reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman. This will be his second time voicing the Caped Crusader, after portraying the character in next month’s Justice League: War. This, plus the fact that the animation design is similar to War, indicates that the two share continuity. Other cast members in Son of Batman include Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne/Robin, Morena Baccarin as Talia al Ghul, Giancarlo Esposito as Ra’s al Ghul, David McCallum as Alfred Pennyworth, Xander Berkeley as Kirk Langstrom, and Thomas Gibson as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke. Finally, we have the first trailer for the movie. Watch it below, and stay tuned for more news as we have it. [Via TV Guide]
