Dean Cain and Helen Slater Set to Guest Star on CBS’ SUPERGIRL
We have some more casting news for CBS’ potential Supergirl series, and this should excite fans of live action Superman adaptations. According to TV Line, actors Dean Cain and Helen Slater are set to guest star in the upcoming pilot. Details on their roles are currently being kept under wraps.
Cain is best known for playing Clark Kent/Superman in the fan-favorite television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, which ran from 1993 to 1997. Meanwhile, Slater starred as Kara Zor-El herself in 1984’s critically panned Supergirl movie. Both actors previously guest-starred on The CW’s Smallville. Cain played Dr. Curtis Knox, while Slater played Kal-El’s Kryptonian mother, Lara.
With the Supergirl pilot set to begin filming this spring, expect more casting news to be announced soon.
