DC’S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Finds its Showrunner
The CW will expand its take on the DC Universe, created by Arrow and The Flash, with a third series, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. The midseason series will assemble supporting characters from both shows, such as Atom, Captain Cold and a resurrected Sara Lance. Today, the series has announced its showrunner.
According to TV Line, The Tomorrow People‘s Phil Klemmer will serve as showrunner and executive producer on Legends of Tomorrow. This marks his latest collaboration with fellow EP Greg Berlanti; in addition to Tomorrow People, the two worked on Golden Boy and Political Animals.
As well as Klemmer and Berlanti, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will be executive produced by Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter. The 16-episode series will premiere in early 2016.
