DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, the third series in The CW’s ongoing take on the DC Universe, held its Comic-Con panel last night. There were plenty of teases regarding the show, but the biggest news is that yet another major DC character will appear. It has been confirmed that Hawkman will debut in the series. It probably shouldn’t be that surprising, given the fact that Hawkman’s frequent love interest, Hawkgirl, is a member of the main cast. However, no casting for Hawkman was announced.
Additionally, as expected, the first few episodes of both The Flash and Arrow next season will set up the events of Legends of Tomorrow. For example, Sara Lance will undergo her resurrection from the dead, and the world will discover that Ray Palmer survived that explosion in the Arrow season three finale.
