With DC’s Legends of Tomorrow set to premiere on The CW on January 21st, Warner Bros. and The CW are dedicating a whole night to DC Entertainment before the series premiere. According to The Wrap, two one-hour specials will air Tuesday, January 19th on The CW. The first is titled ‘DC’s Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time Is Now’, this will give an in-depth look at the Arrow/The Flash spinoff series. The second special is titled ‘DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League’, which will preview the film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and other upcoming DC films.
The Legends of Tomorrow special will introduce viewers to the main antagonist Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), time traveler Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill), and our team of heroes and rogues: Hawkman (Falk Hentschel), Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee), The Atom (Brandon Routh), Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and White Canary (Caity Lotz).
The Dawn of The Justice League special will preview the upcoming DC films that will be releasing next year. The special will feature interviews with directors Zack Snyder (Batman v Superman, Justice League) and Patty Jenkins (Wonder Woman), along with stars Ben Affleck (Batman), Henry Cavill (Superman) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman). The special will wrap things up with the debut of a new trailer for the film Suicide Squad, as well as a sneak peek at Wonder Woman.
The two DC specials will air Tuesday, January 19th at 9 PM EST on The CW.
