Looks Like GREEN LANTERN CORPS Has Been Pushed Back a Month

So far, Warner Bros. has two DC movies scheduled for 2020, Cyborg and Green Lantern Corps. The former is expected to hit on April 3rd, while the latter’s date was June 19th. Now, it looks like we’ll have to wait an extra month to see the Emerald Knights return to the big screen.

WB (via The Wrap) has pushed June 19th’s “Untitled DC Movie” (which is expected to be Green Lantern Corps) to July 24th, 2020. This is only one month later than its original date, so it’s not a drastic delay. The film is now scheduled to open two weeks after an untitled Marvel Studios movie.

Currently, Green Lantern Corps does not have a writer, director or cast. Green Lantern is not expected to make his debut in the DC Extended Universe until 2019’s Justice League Part Two at the earliest. It’s also possible that he won’t make his presence felt until Green Lantern Corps. Time will tell. Stay tuned for more news as we have it.
