NBC Moves POWERLESS to Midseason Premiere

The other day, NBC confirmed that it has picked up DC Comics’ workplace comedy, Powerless, for a full season order. Now, the network has unveiled its schedule for the 2016-2017 television season. Where does Powerless fit?

It looks like we’ll have to wait a little later than the fall to see Powerless, as NBC (via TV Line) has slated the show to premiere during midseason – or possibly later. An exact debut date hasn’t been decided yet, but don’t be surprised if the show premieres early next year.

Powerless is the fourth recent DC show to be set for a midseason premiere, rather than fall. This year, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (The CW) and Lucifer (Fox) premiered during midseason, while iZombie debuted during midseason last year on The CW.
