ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Adds Michelle Pfeiffer, Laurence Fishburne, Logo & Art Revealed
Marvel surprised a lot of us tonight at Comic-Con by announcing a couple of cast additions for next year’s Ant-Man and the Wasp as well as revealing out first look at art for the film, which includes the logo.
First up, Michelle Pfeiffer has been cast as Janet Van Dyne, wife of original Ant-Man, Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and mother to Hope (Evangeline Lilly). In the comics, Janet was the original Wasp, as well as a founding member/leader of the Avengers at one point.
Joining Pfeiffer is Laurence Fishburne. Fishburne will be playing Bill Foster, a scientist that worked alongside Hank Pym before taking on the superhero life as Black Goliath later on in the comics.
Art for the film was also unveiled during the panel, featuring Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) alongside the film’s official logo. Take a look!
