Last night, DC Entertainment held its San Diego Comic-Con 2017 panels for its two flagship shows, The Flash and Arrow. During the panels, some casting news for the new seasons was announced. And boy, did they drop some doozies.

First up, on The Flash, action movie star Danny Trejo has been cast as Breacher, a feared bounty hunter from Earth-19 and the father of Gypsy. His mission is to prevent any inter-dimension traveler from threatening any lives on his Earth, especially his daughter’s.

Next, The Americans alum Neil Sandilands is set to play the season’s big bad, Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker. Dubbed the “fastest mind alive,” DeVoe is a genius metahuman who has created a plan to fix everything he deems wrong in humanity. Lastly, Dominion actress Kim Engelbrecht will play The Mechanic, an engineer who designs devices for DeVoe and will stop at nothing to help him succeed.

Moving on to Arrow, it was announced that Person of Interest‘s Michael Emerson will recur throughout the show’s sixth season. His character is currently unknown, but he will be part of a “villainous cabal” that will fight Oliver and his team. The to-be-cast Richard Dragon will also be part of this group. Meanwhile, David Nykl‘s Anatoly Knyazev will return next season with a “literal” vengeance.

Stay tuned for more news as we have it. The Flash returns on Tuesday, October 10th at 8 PM EST on The CW, while Arrow premieres on Thursday, October 12th at 9 PM EST.
