Damon Lindelof’s WATCHMEN is Getting a Pilot Order
Alan Moore’s Watchmen is once again looking to be adapted, this time by Damon Lindelof.
The Hollywood Reporter reports that HBO has ordered a pilot for the Lindelof project. The deal with HBO will also commission additional scripts for a potential series order.
If the Lindelof project makes it before cameras, it will be the second adaptation of the beloved graphic novel after Zack Snyder’s 2009 film. Reviews were generally mixed for that film, with some reviewers considering the narrative to be too dense for a feature film. Hopefully Lindelof & co. will have success translating Rorschach and the gang to the small screen.
Watchmen is currently in development. Stay tuned to Watchtower of Babel for more DC news.
