NEW MUTANTS Movie Has Wrapped Production
This summer, production finally began for Fox’s X-Men spinoff New Mutants. This film is expected to be very different from its predecessors, with director Josh Boone calling it a “full-fledged horror movie” that does not have costumes or supervillains. Now, filming is done.
Boone took to Instagram to confirm that New Mutants has wrapped production, just a couple months after filming started. Now that principal photography is finished, Boone and his team can move on to editing and other parts of post-production. Hopefully, we’ll get a teaser trailer soon too.
New Mutants is scheduled to hit theaters on April 13th, 2018. The 11th installment of the X-Men franchise stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Henry Zaga, Charlie Heaton, Blu Hunt, and Alice Braga. Josh Boone directs from a script that he co-wrote with Knate Gwaltney
