Woody Harrelson in Talks to Join VENOM Movie

Sony’s Venom movie has been filming for a while, but we have more casting news – and it could be one of the film’s biggest scores yet.

According to The Wrap, actor Woody Harrelson is in talks to join Venom in an unknown role. Variety suggests that he could be some sort of henchman. But considering Harrelson’s star power, it wouldn’t be shocking if he played a much bigger role. Carnage, maybe?

Harrelson is on a roll with blockbusters, playing the villain in this summer’s War for the Planet of the Apes and playing a character in next year’s Solo: A Star Wars Story. Venom marks his first comic book role. He’s also the latest addition to a noteworthy cast, which is headlined by Tom Hardy, Riz Ahmed, and Michelle Williams.
