Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and TT Games have created many video games based on LEGO properties, including the LEGO Batman trilogy. A new rumor suggests that another DC game is on the way, but with a twist.
According to ComicBook, WB and TT are developing a new game starring the villains of the DC Universe. This is a contrast from the last three games, which put the focus on Batman and the Justice League. The game – potentially titled LEGO DC Villains or LEGO DC Supervillains – is said to star many iconic villains, such as Joker, Harley Quinn, and Lex Luthor.
The game will reportedly be released at some point “over the next year.” TT Games tends to put out two LEGO games per year, and with the 2018 slate unconfirmed, it’s possible it could come out this year. The game’s platforms and other details are currently under wraps.
Hopefully, an official announcement on LEGO DC Villains will come sooner than later. Stay tuned.
