Rumor: AQUAMAN Trailer Will Be Released Next Month

With Justice League out of the way, Warner Bros.’ next DC film will be James Wan’s Aquaman. We haven’t seen too much from this movie yet; just a couple stills of Arthur Curry. However, that may soon change, if this latest rumor is any indication.

According to Revenge of the Fans, WB is planning on premiering the first Aquaman trailer during its WonderCon panel. The convention takes place between March 23rd and 25th, but with the programming schedule not revealed yet, it’s unknown exactly what day/time the WB panel is. After premiering at the panel, the trailer (or at least a version of it) will be released online.

Fans have speculated that the Aquaman trailer could be attached to one of WB’s two March blockbusters: Tomb Raider and Ready Player One. The latter film hits theaters on March 29th, so premiering the trailer a few days beforehand makes sense. Hopefully, we’ll get official confirmation in the coming weeks.

Aquaman is scheduled to hit theaters December 21st. The sixth installment in the DC Films Universe stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ludi Lin, Patrick Wilson, and Nicole Kidman. James Wan directs from a script by Will Beall.
