SILVER AND BLACK Adds Two New Screenwriters
Following this fall’s Venom, Sony’s next Marvel-based movie will be Silver and Black, which sees Silver Sable and Black Cat team up. Gina Prince-Bythewood is directing the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on February 8th, 2019. Now, we have news on two screenwriters who have contributed to the movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, scribes Lindsey Beer and Geneva Robertson-Dworet have written the most recent draft of Silver and Black. Bythewood is now polishing the draft, and she will soon submit it to the studio. Earlier drafts were written by Chris Yost and Lisa Joy, with Bythewood writing another draft.
Beer and Robertson-Dworet have been attached to multiple geek properties in recent years. Beer has been part of writer’s rooms for films like Transformers and Godzilla vs. Kong, while Chaos Walking is out this year. Meanwhile, Robertston-Dworet wrote for Tomb Raider and Captain Marvel, as well as Gotham City Sirens.
