This week saw the return of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, making the show’s debut in the Monday night slot. The episode saw the team working with John Constantine to exorcise a demon from a little girl. (Anything further said will go into spoiler territory.) It was a fun episode, and Constantine worked very well on the show. Fortunately, he’ll be returning sooner than later.
ComicBook has confirmed that Constantine will be back in episode 15 of this season, titled “Necromancing the Stone.” The episode will air in five weeks. While an Instagram post has fueled fan speculation about Constantine appearing in the finale too, the character is only confirmed to appear in episode 15 right now.
As everyone knows by now, Matt Ryan’s Constantine was the star of his own series on NBC, which was canceled after 13 episodes. The character was later integrated into the Arrowverse with a role in Arrow‘s fourth season. Fans have wanted to see Constantine come back again and again, leading to his role on Legends of Tomorrow. And on top of that, CW Seed is developing a Constantine animated series, which is expected to premiere this year.
