MY HERO ACADEMIA Live Action Movie in the Works
My Hero Academia is getting live-action adaptation! According to The Hollywood Reporter, Deku and friends are being brought to the silver screen by Legendary Pictures.
With My Hero Academia’s popularity being at an all-time high now is the perfect time to try a live action adaptation. The anime just finished its third season with a fourth on the way, the manga is one most successful in recent memory, the anime had a film in theaters that exceeded expectations, and the franchise even has a video game coming out this Friday! We don’t any other details on the project as its still very early in the development stage, but it will be interesting to see where they go.
Boku No Hero Academia is a manga series written by Kohei Horikoshi. It stars a young boy powerless boy named Izuku Midoriya. In a world where 80% of the population has superpowers, Izuku does not. Inspired by the world’s number one hero, All Might, Izuku vows to become the world’s greatest hero. He attends the top hero school in Japan, and with the help of his teachers and classmates, he’s on his way to making his dreams become reality.
