Henry Cavill Discusses Cyborg And MAN OF STEEL’s DC Universe References
One of the most enjoyable elements in Man of Steel is the inclusion of multiple references to a wider DC Universe. From the Wayne Enterprises satellite to S.T.A.R. Labs and LexCorp, these Easter eggs sowed the seeds for what may come in future films. In the following interview, Superman himself, Henry Cavill, looks back on these references. He talks in particular detail about Cyborg, who is connected to S.T.A.R. Labs, calling him a wonderful character. DC Entertainment Reportedly Developing Low Budget Adaptations For Spring And Fall Releases
It appears that DC Entertainment has a different and unexpected idea on how to further explore the DC Universe on film. A couple weeks ago, it was reported that movies for the likes of Deathstroke, Booster Gold and the Suicide Squad were being considered, with Man of Steel and Batman vs. Superman scribe David S. Speaking with Total Film, Man of Steel star Henry Cavill discusses Ben Affleck’s casting as Bruce Wayne/Batman in the follow-up, Batman vs. Superman.
