Spider-Man Expected to Appear in KRAVEN THE HUNTER Movie
The biggest critique surrounding Sony’s Universe of Marvel Characters (SUMC) is that, while these characters are prominent parts of Spider-Man lore, Spider-Man himself is absent. Even Venom had to drastically alter its origin story because, in the comics, Eddie Brock and Venom are closely tied to Spider-Man. Kraven The Hunter Spin-Off In The Works At Sony From Richard Wenk
Sony is continuing to expand it’s plan to make a Spider-Man Cinematic Universe, that may or may not be within the MCU, with a new film featuring the popular villain Kraven The Hunter. Collider reports that Sony has hired Richard Wenk, the screenwriter behind both Equalizer films as well as the 2016 remake of The Magnificent Seven, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, and The Expendables 2, to pen the script for a solo film starring the fan-favorite foe. Sony had previously announced a movie featuring the Korean-American superhero Silk, a Morbius The Living Vampire film starring Jared Leto and directed by Daniel Espinosa, a Nightwatch movie directed by Spike Lee, and the Black Cat/Silver Sable team-up…
