Gal Gadot Signed A Three-Movie Contract To Play Wonder Woman
Batman-News has posted another video interview Gal Gadot did with Good Evening with Gai Pines, where she revealed more details on her Wonder Woman casting. While we don’t have an English transcription – you can watch the video interview in Hebrew at the link above – she said that she begins filming Batman vs. Superman in May. That goes along with Warner Bros.’ recent announcement that the film will now shoot in the second quarter of 2014. Gadot will also make $300,000 for her role in the Man of Steel follow-up.
Most significantly, the actress revealed that she signed a three-picture contract to play Wonder Woman. Batman vs. Superman is obviously the first movie in the deal, while the other two titles are presumably Justice League and a solo Wonder Woman film. It’s also a possibility, however, that Gadot isn’t signed on for her own movie yet, and the third film on her contract is another team-up. That being said, Wonder Woman will most likely get her own film if she’s well received in Batman vs. Superman and/or Justice League.
