Phil Lord & Chris Miller Set to Write Story Treatment for THE FLASH Movie; Will They Direct?
Categories UncategorizedLast week, it was reported that Warner Bros. was courting Phil Lord and Chris Miller to direct 2018’s The Flash. That film will star Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster, who will make his debut in WB/DC’s two-part Justice League epic. The highly in-demand directing duo are circling the DC adaptation in addition to a Ghostbusters movie for Sony. It is unsure which they will choose as their next directorial project. Either way, Lord and Miller are now officially involved with The Flash.
According to The Wrap, the directors behind The LEGO Movie are writing a story treatment for the Flash film. However, they have yet to sign on to direct it. Miller and Lord are still being courted to helm a movie set in the Ghostbusters cinematic universe. They previously turned down the reboot which will now be directed by Paul Feig. Hopefully, the two will decide to direct The Flash instead.
Stay tuned for more as we have it. The Flash is set to hit theaters on March 23rd, 2018.
