Rumored Details on Release of Next BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Trailer(s)

So far, Warner Bros. has released two trailers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. A two-minute teaser debuted in April, while a nearly four minute trailer premiered at Comic-Con. It has been widely expected that the studio would release at least one more trailer closer to the film’s release. And now, a new rumor suggests that not one, not two, but three more trailers are on the way.

According to Heroic Hollywood – whose founder, El Mayimbe, initially broke the IMAX screenings news for the teaser trailer earlier this year – rumor has it that WB is planning on premiering two teaser trailers on live television on Monday, October 26th.

In case you didn’t know, that same date will mark the premiere of CBS’ Supergirl show, while Fox will air an episode of Gotham at the same time. So, one teaser would air with Supergirl, and it would be focused completely on Superman. Meanwhile, a Batman-centric teaser will air during Gotham. It is unknown if these teasers will then be released online afterwards; they kind of have to be, right?

But apparently, these teaser will then lead to a full-length theatrical trailer, which would be released in November. It would be attached to WB’s Creed, which debuts the day before Thanksgiving, but it could also be attached to The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 and/or Spectre.

This sounds very exciting, but again, this is all rumor for now. Hopefully, we will receive official confirmation sooner than later.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is scheduled to hit theaters March 25th, 2016. The second installment in the DC Extended Universe stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter and Gal Gadot. Zack Snyder directs from a script by Chris Terrio and David S Goyer.
