Vanessa Williams Cast as Iris West's Mom in THE FLASH Season 2

For those who’ve wondered where Iris’s mom is in the CW Flash show, worry no more! She will be played by actress Vanessa Williams. Williams has been a mostly unknown actress, but she has had parts in Candyman and Melrose Place. DC Comics has kept all other details, such as the episode she will be appearing in, under wraps.

There are two possible choices as to whom she will be playing, if they go with a character from the comics. Nadine West or Fran Russel are two possible choices, unless they create an entirely new character!
