Box Office Updates for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE, Weekend #6

This marked the sixth weekend of release for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here, we have the latest box office gross for the DC superhero ensemble, as well as its domestic gross this weekend.

According to Deadline, Batman v Superman fell to #9 in the list of Top 10 films in North America this weekend, grossing $3.8 million. This brings its domestic total to $325.1 million.

Internationally, the film has grossed $537.8 million. Combine this with its domestic total, and the movie’s worldwide gross is $862.9 million. This puts Batman v Superman ahead of the last DC Extended Universe film, Man of Steel, by almost $200 million worldwide. However, the film is the third biggest DC film both worldwide and domestically, behind The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

At this rate, it looks like Batman v Superman will end its theatrical run with just under $900 million worldwide. However, the rumored theatrical release of the Ultimate Edition, a three-hour director’s cut, may help the movie reach that benchmark.
