More Casting News for Next Seasons of THE FLASH, GOTHAM and LUCIFER

In the season two finale of The Flash, Harrison Wells and his daughter, Jesse, returned to Earth-2. However, Wells is expected to remain a series regular for season three, which will adapt the “Flashpoint” storyline. Now, Jesse’s return has been confirmed.

Actress Violett Beane confirmed to TV Line that she will be back for The Flash‘s third season. I know I’ll be back. But I don’t know if it’s with or without powers.” Last season hinted at Jesse becoming a speedster, like in the comics. But with “Flashpoint” happening next season, literally anything can happen with Jesse. We’ll just have to wait and see.

The Flash returns on Tuesday, October 4th at 8 PM EST on The CW.

Next, we have some more casting news for Gotham season three. According to TV Line, Person of Interest alum James Carpinello is set to play Mario Falcone, the son of mob boss Carmine Falcone. On Gotham, Mario has rejected his family’s criminal ways, and he is described as “…a well-respected, Ivy League-educated ER doctor. He’s kind, honest and trustworthy, making him the black sheep of the Falcone clan.”

However, Mario will get in the way of Jim Gordon’s attempts to reunite with his fiance Leslie “Lee” Thompkins. Hooray, sounds like we have another dumb love triangle!

Gotham returns on Monday, September 19th at 8 PM EST on Fox.

And finally, we have a new series regular for season two of Lucifer. According to Deadline, Dexter actress Aimee Garcia has been cast as new character Ella Lopez, the new forensic scientist.

Ella, who loves her job, grew up in a devout Catholic family in a “pretty rough” Detroit neighborhood. Lucifer, and the rest of the department, take interest in her belief in both faith and science.

Lucifer returns on Monday, September 19th at 9 PM EST on Fox.
