Another day, another bit of casting news for DC and New Line’s Shazam.
According to Deadline, The Walking Dead actor Cooper Andrews has joined the highly anticipated superhero tentpole. He will play the foster parent at Billy Batson’s group home. This news comes after two of Billy’s group home friends, Eugene and Pedro, had been cast.
Shazam will begin shooting in February under the direction of David F. Sandberg. The film is set to hit theaters in April 2019.
