Kate Kane’s Step-Mother Cast In BATWOMAN

Kate Kane’s step-mother has been cast! Elizabeth Anweis will take on the roll as The CW’s Batwoman pilot’s production is coming near. She will play the wife to Jacob Kane (Dougray Scott), and based on the character description Variety provided, might be a thorn in Batwoman’s side.

Catherine made her fortune as a savvy, bullheaded defense contractor, and all those billions position Catherine as one of Gotham’s most powerful residents. For Catherine, it’s a matter of the bottom line: Batwoman is bad for business.

Elizabeth Anweis’ TV credits includes the shows 9-1-1, Twin Peaks: The Return, The Affair, Southland, and NCIS: Los Angeles.

The Batwoman pilot has Ruby Rose playing Kate Kane/Batwoman, Dougray Scott playing Jacob Kane. Other main cast members include, Meagan Tandy, Camrus Johnson, Nicole Kang, and Rachel Skarsten. Caroline Dries will write and executive produce the pilot, with Marcos Siega now set to direct.
