STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS is Returning
Are you ready for it? Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be returning to close out its arc!
After unceremoniously being canceled in 2013, Clone Wars put a sixth unaired, “unfinished” season on Netflix. Dave Filoni revealed today in an SDCC panel sneakily titled as a way to honor the show’s tenth anniversary, that the show would be returning on Disney Direct, Disney’s upcoming streaming service.
According to the show’s writer(Brett Freidman) back in 2014, scripts had been finished for the show through an eighth season. At this time, it is unknown if those scripts will in fact be used, and for how many seasons the show will air.
I know I’m excited, and I’ll have some theories coming yalls’ way soon. But in the meantime, if you have any, let us know! We’re on Twitter (@WOBAMEnt), Instagram, (@WOBAMEnt), or Facebook(WOBAM Entertainment).
