DC Universe opened up New York Comic-Con in style last night, dropping plenty of news for its original shows. One of the highlights is the Harley Quinn animated series. Not only do we have our first footage from the show, but we now have an all-star voice cast.
The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco is voicing Harleen Quinzel in the series, with Lake Bell playing Poison Ivy. Meanwhile, Diedrich Bader is reprising his role as Batman from The Brave and the Bold. The rest of the cast includes Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, J.B. Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Tony Hale, and Chris Meloni.
Meanwhile, DC dropped the first promo for Harley Quinn at the panel. The footage breaks the fourth wall a lot, with Harley throwing shade at DC’s dark movies/shows and the cancelled Deadpool animated series. Based on this clip alone, the series looks to be a lot of fun. Check it out below.
Harley Quinn premieres sometime next year on DC Universe.
