Ben Affleck Discusses JUSTICE LEAGUE’s “More Traditional” Portrayal of Batman
Ben Affleck’s Batman will return in this fall’s Justice League, following his debut in last year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. While the vast majority of fans love Affleck as Batman, there was also a lot of controversy surrounding the character’s more brutal and morally questionable actions in Dawn of Justice. Fortunately, fans who took issue with that will likely be happy with the Dark Knight in Justice League. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Affleck contrasts the Batman character in both Batman v Superman and Justice League. “Batman v Superman departed a little bit from the traditional Batman,” says Affleck, who reaffirms the character’s hatred of Superman in that movie.…

Nick Fury Isn't in AVENGERS 3 and 4 After All, Says Samuel L. Jackson
Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury played a crucial role in the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recruiting Iron Man and the other heroes for his “Avengers Initiative.” The last time we saw Fury, the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. popped up in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron to once again assist our heroes. Since then, he’s been absent from Marvel movies, but he will appear in 2019’s Captain Marvel. Originally, it was expected that Fury would also appear in next year’s Avengers: Infinity War and/or 2019’s Avengers 4, especially given that the two movies will serve as a conclusion to the MCU’s current story arc. However, turns out that’s not…

Director Doug Liman Elaborates on Why He Left JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK
After being attached for several months, director Doug Liman dropped out of DC Films’ Justice League Dark earlier this year. Originally, it was explained that there was a scheduling conflict, as Liman is prepping to shoot Chaos Walking. Turns out there was more to Liman’s decision than that. Speaking with Cinema Blend, Liman explains that the script was never “special enough” for him, and since he’s attached to a lot of movies in development, it influenced him to decide not to do it. “You know, I develop more movies than I make. There’s a weed-out process, and it’s just that when you get to the comic book one, suddenly everybody…
