Last month, we read a casting call for Arrow season six, seeking an actor to play a new character called Ricardo Diaz. In the comics, Diaz is an alias used by the New 52 version of Richard Dragon, and he was a key Green Arrow villain during that run. Now, the series has cast the character. The late Adam West’s final performance as the Caped Crusader is in this fall’s animated movie, Batman vs. Two-Face. The film pits Batman and Robin against Two-Face, voiced by William Shatner. We saw the trailer recently, and now, we have more information. Batman vs. Two-Face will hit digital platforms on Tuesday, October 10th, with the Blu-Ray/DVD coming a week later on October 17th. Jackson’s Nick Fury played a crucial role in the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, recruiting Iron Man and the other heroes for his “Avengers Initiative.” The last time we saw Fury, the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D. popped up in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron to once again assist our heroes. We briefly met Dr. Silas Stone (played by Joe Morton) in the Justice League cameo montage in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, where he was recording his efforts to save his son, Victor. The clip ended with a first glimpse of Victor’s transformation into Cyborg. Dr. Stone will be returning in this fall’s Justice League and the eventual Cyborg movie. The critically acclaimed reboot crossed the $300 million domestic mark the other day, and this weekend, it’s reached a key worldwide benchmark. According to Box Office Mojo, Homecoming made an estimated $6.1 million this weekend in North America, ranking at #7 in the week’s top ten. After being attached for several months, director Doug Liman dropped out of DC Films’ Justice League Dark earlier this year.
