ABC Finally Cancels INHUMANS After One Season
Back in September, ABC premiered its latest Marvel show, Inhumans, which was made in collaboration with IMAX. The eight-episode series was trashed by fans and critics, while ratings were mediocre. So, this news shouldn’t be surprising….except for how long it took to announce it. ABC has confirmed (via TV Line) that Inhumans has been cancelled after just one season. Based on the show’s reception, literally everyone saw this coming. But it’s surprising to see ABC wait until the last minute to confirm it. The series’ last episode aired in November. With Inhumans out of the way, attention is now turned to ABC’s other Marvel show, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Despite low ratings, the…

Review: INHUMANS Episode 3: "Divide and Conquer"
It can only get better from here, folks. Right? Someone please tell me I’m right…Hello? Is that you, Existential Void? Don’t just hover there, SAY SOMETHING! “Divide and Conquer” picks up where Episode 2 left off. The royal family is still divided, Maximus is still making power grabs, and Lockjaw is *still* asleep. Oh, boy. The lack of any movement or development between Episodes 2 and 3 is striking. As it turns out, Gorgon’s surfer bro pals are ex-military, and the crew decide to stage an ambush for Maximus’ lackeys. Medusa continues her search for Black Bolt by shouting at an ATM to give her money, which eventually leads her to steal…

Review: INHUMANS Episode 2: "Those Who Would Destroy Us"
Oh, the Inhumanity! “Those Who Would Destroy Us,” you sure are something. After the pilot split everyone up and deposited the royals in Hawaii, Sly Spy The Iron Fist Guy takes the show in a fish-out-of-water direction. Black Bolt is causing crashes, stealing suits, and totaling police cars. Medusa is hitchiking on a tour bus and rocking the shaved head look. Gorgon is palling around with surfer bros. Karnak falls off a cliff and looses his sense of direction. Crystal is locked in her apartment. Lockjaw is sleeping (seriously). And Maximus… schemes, and stuff. So… um… that’s the episode. And that’s the problem. Episode 1 made a point to set-up…

Review: INHUMANS Episode 1: "Behold… The Inhumans"
Ahhhh, Inhumans! You’ve had the bumpiest ride to screens both big and small. Originally announced as a feature film, you got canceled by Kevin Feige only to be resurrected for the small screen and IMAX by that Sly Spy The Iron Fist Guy, Scott Buck. The IMAX presentation was widely panned by most critics, including our own. But how does the TV edit hold up? Have things improved? And does this eight episode series show any promise? Let’s find out… High from their perch on the moon, the Inhuman city of Attilan stands as a haven for Inhuman kind. Sorta. All is not well in the city, and unrest abounds…
