ABC Finally Cancels INHUMANS After One Season
Back in September, ABC premiered its latest Marvel show, Inhumans, which was made in collaboration with IMAX. The eight-episode series was trashed by fans and critics, while ratings were mediocre. So, this news shouldn’t be surprising….except for how long it took to announce it. ABC has confirmed (via TV Line) that Inhumans has been cancelled after just one season. AMC’s The Walking Dead is heading into its ninth season this fall, and the show is adding two new regulars to the cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, actors Avi Nash and Callan McAuliffe have been upgraded to series regulars. The two joined the show as Siddiq and Alden, respectively, during season eight. The Walking Dead returns in October with new showrunner Angela Kang. HBO is bringing Watchmen back to life, and this news suggests it’ll happen sooner than later. According to Production Weekly (via ComicBook), the show’s working title is “Brooklyn.” This suggests that the show will be beginning production soon.
