While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has a dedicated fanbase (myself included), there are also plenty of people who aren’t so fond of it. Rumor: James Marsden Also in Consideration for GREEN LANTERN CORPS’ Hal Jordan?
Yesterday, it was reported that Warner Bros. is considering six actors for the role of Hal Jordan in 2020’s Green Lantern Corps. The actors named on the shortlist are Ryan Reynolds, Tom Cruise, Jake Gyllenhaal, Bradley Cooper, Joel McHale and Armie Hammer. Several of these names sounded surprising; Reynolds already played Jordan in 2011’s disaster Green Lantern, Cruise is in his mid-50s, and so on. Now, we have another name to add to the list. New Details on THE FLASH/SUPERGIRL Musical Crossover Episode
Following Supergirl’s visit to Earth-1 in the “Heroes vs. Aliens” crossover event, Kara will reunite with Flash in another crossover this season. This crossover will be a musical, a first for the Arrowverse. The villain will be Music Meister, who has yet to be cast. Now, some more details on what to expect have surfaced. Per Entertainment Weekly, the crossover begins at the end of Supergirl‘s March 20th episode, and the story will mostly take place in Flash‘s March 21st episode. Justice League Dark hits digital stores next week, with the home video release set for February 7th. After that, DC will tackle the acclaimed Teen Titans storyline, The Judas Contract. Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam to Star in His Own Movie, Separate from SHAZAM
Dwayne Johnson has been attached to play anti-hero Black Adam in New Line Cinema’s Shazam movie for a few years. The film will take place in the DC Extended Universe, and the studio previously announced an April 2019 release. Now, Warner Bros. has big plans for the property, splitting it off into two films. With the release of Injustice 2 now under 4 months away, NetherRealm Studios has unveiled a new trailer for the game that hints more of its story. These Three Characters Are Returning to THE FLASH Later This Season
We’re one week away from the return of The Flash, which is now in the middle of its third season. And hot off the heels of a season four renewal, we have confirmation that three previously established characters will return in some capacity later this year. First up, Eddie Thawne actor Rick Cosnett announced on Twitter that he will be returning to The Flash. Of course, Eddie sacrificed himself in the season one finale, while he appeared in a couple episodes last season, thanks to time travel and a dream sequence.
