BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Ultimate Edition Blu-Ray Details and Trailer Unveiled
After much anticipation, Warner Bros. (via Collider) has finally confirmed details on the home video release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In addition to the theatrical cut, the three-hour “Ultimate Edition”/director’s cut will be released. The R-rated cut contains 30 minutes of new footage, and it includes characters (such as Jena Malone’s) and Easter eggs not seen in the theatrical version. Batman v Superman will be available for digital download on June 28th, while the DVD, Blu-Ray, Blu-Ray 3D and Ultra HD Blu-Ray combo packs will arrive on July 19th. Arrow, the show that started The CW’s current DC television craze, recently concluded its highly polarizing fourth season. Regardless, you can own the series’ fourth year on home video next fall, just in time for the premiere of season five. Funko Unveils New SUICIDE SQUAD Movie Products: Pop! Figures, Dorbz, Mystery Minis and More
Today, official merchandise based on the Suicide Squad movie is beginning to roll out in stores. Among the companies creating merchandise for the film is Funko. Today, the company revealed (via Legion of Collectors) a slew of new products that span across its various toy lines. First up, we have the Pop! figures, which are now available in stores. While Ben Affleck‘s Batman as well as many others characters such as Wonder Woman and The Flash get their own solo outings sometime between now and 2020, Superman is the only major hero in the DCEU that does not currently have a film in development (that we know of). Film critics have been very negative in their reviews of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Complaints range from the film’s pacing to editing to tone to…well, just about everything. Actors from the movie, such as Henry Cavill and Ray Fisher, have defended the film despite the reviews. However, it looks like one cast member agrees with the critics.
