So far, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is the only confirmed installment of Phase Four. We also have a Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel coming out two months after Avengers 4, but it’s not clear if it’s part of Phase Three or the beginning of Phase Four. Kevin Feige previously suggested that Marvel is keeping its Phase Four titles under wraps, likely to avoid potential Avengers 4…

NIGHTWING Director Chris McKay is Taking His Time to Get the Movie Right
A few months ago, it was announced that The LEGO Batman Movie director Chris McKay is taking the helm of a Nightwing movie for Warner Bros. and DC Films. The script is being written by The Accountant‘s Bill Dubuque. Since the initial announcement, we’ve had few updates, and the film wasn’t mentioned at WB’s San Diego Comic-Con panel last month. Turns out there’s a specific reason for that. On Twitter, McKay says that he’s not rushing Nightwing just to hit a release date. He’s taking the time he needs to make a genuinely great movie. Thus, it wasn’t listed in DC Films’ next wave of titles at SDCC. I think…

FEATURE: Five Ideas for R-Rated Animated DC Movies
For a while, DC’s original animated movies were all either PG or PG-13. However, that changed last year with the release of Batman: The Killing Joke, an R-rated adaptation of the iconic graphic novel. The following movie, Justice League Dark, was also rated R, while a Watchmen adaptation is said to be in the works. These recent efforts have shown that DC now has free reign to tell more adult-oriented stories in animation – if it fits the story of course. Naturally, fans may speculate on what the next R-rated movie(s) from DC is coming. Below, we’ve compiled a list of five possible ideas. Green Arrow: The Longbow Hunters “The…
