After being attached for several months, director Doug Liman dropped out of DC Films’ Justice League Dark earlier this year. Marvel and Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming has been one of the biggest movies of the summer, fueled strong reviews from critics and a solid box office run. DC Films’ Wonder Woman is undeniably the movie of the summer. The film has earned rave reviews from critics and audiences, while it surpassed $400 million at the domestic box office this week – only the second film to do so this year (so far). After many years in development hell, Sony is finally moving forward with its Venom movie, starring one of Spider-Man’s most iconic villains. X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX Adding New and Old Characters to the Cast
Filming is now underway on the next main X-Men film, subtitled Dark Phoenix. The bulk of the cast from the First Class trilogy are coming back, along with new additions such as Jessica Chastain’s Lilandra. Now, a new report suggests that four more characters are joining the cast – two are new, while we’ve met the other two before. According to That Hashtag Show, actors Kota Eberhardt and Scott Shepherd have joined the X-Men universe.
