In keeping with the annual tradition, The CW will reunite its four DC shows – Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow – for an epic crossover event. With David Ayer moving on to Gotham City Sirens, Warner Bros. has been searching for a new director to take over the Suicide Squad sequel. Mel Gibson was at the top of the shortlist for a while, but as the script underwent another rewrite, he eventually moved on. Sure enough, Warner Bros. confirmed during its panel at San Diego Comic-Con this past weekend that Wonder Woman 2 is in development. Now, we have a release date.
