After being fancast for various DC roles for years, Chris Pine entered negotiations to play Steve Trevor in the Wonder Woman movie a few months back. According to Deadline, the show has now promoted Drew Powell, who plays former Fish Mooney henchman Butch Gilzean, to series regular for its second season. With Mooney now out of the picture, Butch is working for new Gotham crime boss Oswald Cobblepot, aka the Penguin.
