Welcome back to another edition of Movie News Bits! Today, we’re talking about Valiant Comics! First up, we have some news that Sony is developing a Faith superhero movie. The “Faith” comics center around a regular geeky teenager named Faith Herbert, who’s obsessed with comics and science fiction, and has the powers of telekinesis and flight. Lamorne Morris has been cast in Bloodshot, for the role of Wilfred Wigans! Wigans is a young scientist, who becomes Bloodshot’s unlikely ally. Morris joins Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, Talulah Riley, Alex Hernandez, and Toby Kebbell. DC’s Birds of Prey movie is currently casting several fan-favorite characters, including Black Canary. Marvel Studios Announces 10th Anniversary IMAX Film Festival
Marvel Studios has been celebrating its 10th anniversary all year, releasing everything from new merch to home video re-releases to three new movies, including Avengers: Infinity War. Now, the celebration continues, and this news is for those who want to marathon the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel has announced that all 20 MCU movies will return to theaters for IMAX’s 10th Anniversary Film Festival. The festival begins on August 30th and runs until September 6th in the United States and Canada. First Look at THE FLASH’s New Suit for Season 5
The Flash has tweaked Barry’s suit throughout its run, most significantly in season four. The season five trailer teased a new costume, along with the arrival of the Flash ring. Now, we have a first look at the suit. The CW has released a new poster for The Flash, showing off Barry’s latest outfit. Every now and then, a big superhero “rumor” pops up and takes the Internet by storm, even if it doesn’t have an actual source. This latest rumor has claimed that Ray Fisher is planning to leave the role of Cyborg in DC Films’ universe.
