We’ve known for a while that Sony is planning its own Marvel Universe, using various characters from Spider-Man lore. Venom kicks things off this fall, while the studio put Silver & Black, Morbius the Living Vampire, Nightwatch, Silk, and Kraven the Hunter into development. Now, the studio has made some major changes to its slate. Sony is ready to go in on creating sequels and spinoffs if Venom is a hit. Joivan Wade Cast As Cyborg on DC Universe’s Doom Patrol
With the arrival of DC Comics new streaming service DC Universe, we will get new original content for the plattform such as ‘Titans’ and ‘Swamp Thing’ we will also get a Doom Patrol series. We now have confirmation that Cyborg is joining the roster. The actor Joivan Wade, most known for his role in ‘The First Purge’ has now been cast as Victor Stone aka Cyborg in ‘Doom Patrol’. New Details on Disney Streaming Service’s Marvel and STAR WARS Inclusions
This week, Disney outlined some details on what to expect from its streaming service, which will launch in late 2019. Included are details on which Star Wars movies will be included, when Marvel movies will start appearing, Jon Favreau’s Star Wars series, and more. As announced previously, the service will include exclusive shows from both Marvel and Lucasfilm. Among those is an original Star Wars series from Jon Favreau. The CW has found it’s Batwoman! Deadline broke the news that Ruby Rose will be portray Kate Kane, otherwise known as Batwoman, for CW’s Arrowverse! This will mark the first ever live-action superhero TV series with an openly LGBT superhero in the lead.
