Ranking the DCEU So Far
Hey friends! With Justice League now in theaters, it’s safe to say the DCEU has kicked into high gear. Today I’ll share with you my rankings for the 5 films that have been part of DC’s Extended Universe thus far – and yes, this list includes Justice League! So without further ado, let’s get started with… #5: Suicide Squad This movie was a huge disappointment. I remember liking it okay the first time I saw it, and then I realized how much of a hot mess the movie was upon rewatch. The marketing, which featured Sweet’s “Ballroom Blitz” and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” was on point, but the film itself was…

Review: JUSTICE LEAGUE (2017)
The DC Universe has had a very rocky start. Man of Steel, the first film of the franchise had a mixed reception. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice faired even worse, and Suicide Squad was laughable. After a few bumps, things started to take a turn. Wonder Woman was a huge success both critically and financially; breathing new life into the franchise. It was a step in the right direction, and we hope it continues in future films. That brings us here. The first-ever live action Justice League film. Does it keep this winning streak Wonder Woman started or does it fall flat on its face? Well, let’s discuss. Justice League…

Review: JUSTICE LEAGUE: THE FLASHPOINT PARADOX
What would the world look like if Superman didn’t land in Smallville? If Bruce Wayne was the one killed? If the Amazons and Atlantis caused World War 3? That what Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox tried to answer. When the timeline is changed by Zoom, it’s up to The Flash to stop. Is Barry fast enough? Let’s find out. Based on Geoff Johns and Andy Kubert’s legendary graphic novel, Flashpoint, the film deals with the subject of time. An alternate world where nothing makes sense and The Flash needs to change it. This film handles that concept beautifully. Justin Chambers is great as The Flash, giving the character that earnest…

FEATURE: The 10 Most Powerful Members of the JUSTICE LEAGUE
Wonder Woman: The Hiketeia We all know that the Justice League is the greatest superhero team in all of comics, but just how powerful are they? Today, we will be looking at the 10 of the most powerful Justice League members. This is based on the characters sheer power; meaning heroes who rely on gadgets won’t be on this list (we still love you, Batman). Also, characters such as the Green Lanterns are being excluded from the list. The Lantern Corp would take up the entire list, and that’s just not fair, is it? So, without further ado, let’s begin! 10. Aquaman Arthur Curry is the king of Atlantis, and…

FEATURE: Why Lois Lane Deserves a Solo Movie
The year is 2013; the movie, Man of Steel. As Krypton breathes its dying breaths, an alien craft approaches Kansas, its special cargo safely inside. As the fireball approaches Earth, the scene SMASHS to… Zod’s arrival, a Daily Planet staff gobsmacked, and a star reporter who alone can track down the hero Earth needs. Or at least, that’s what could have been, if only Man of Steel was a Lois Lane film. Amy Adams’ approach to Lois was refreshing, and what the movie does with her character is great. When we meet Lois, she’s on assignment in the arctic, covering the discovery of an object beneath the ice. Clark saves…

Greetings, one and all! Our 14 Days of Justice League rolls on full-steam ahead, and today we’re speculating about potential villains for Justice League 2. With Steppenwolf headlining the DCEU’s latest outing, it gives us some ideas for how the filmmakers might take things in the future. With that in mind, here’s 5 potential villains the Watctower Crew would love to see in the sequel. Brainiac For all his claim fame, Brainiac, one of Superman’s greatest foes, is not well known outside of comic fandom. He’s never appeared in a live-action film, which means there’s a ripe opportunity to develop and introduce the jade android to audiences the world over.…

Review: JUSTICE LEAGUE DOOM
Justice League Doom is a direct-to-DVD movie loosely based on the comic, JLA: Tower of Babel. The story is about the Legion of Doom stealing Batman’s contingencies plans to take down the League. Can Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Martian Manhunter, and Cyborg stop them? Of Course, I’m not going to spoil that, but we can talk about everything else! Justice League Doom feels like a spiritual successor to Justice League the animated series. That could be because it has the same voice cast, or the same voice director, or the fact that the same people produce it. It feels like an adventure that took place before…
