ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Tracking for a $75 Million Opening Weekend
At this point, everyone knows that a Marvel movie is going to make a ton of money. That looks to be the case with its next title, Ant-Man and The Wasp, which has hit tracking boards this week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ant-Man and The Wasp is tracking to gross $75 million in its opening weekend. If the movie sticks to that, it will have a noticeably bigger opening than the first Ant-Man, which debuted with $57.2 million in 2015. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Covers Latest Issue of Empire Magazine
We’re less than a month away from the release of Marvel’s next blockbuster, Ant-Man and The Wasp, and marketing is in full swing. This week’s issue of Empire adds to the promotion, featuring the movie as the cover story. In addition to the primary cover, Empire will release a subscribers-exclusive cover drawn by Marvel Studios concept artist Andy Park. The issue will be full of exclusive info, including images and details on Hope van Dyne’s Wasp costume. In addition to this movie, Empire will explore other upcoming films, including Sony’s Venom. ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Team Up in New Trailer
Still recovering from Avengers: Infinity War? Don’t worry, the next Marvel movie will be much lighter and funnier. Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for the sequel Ant-Man and The Wasp, which sees Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne teaming up on a new mission. Welcome to our latest installment of Movie News Bits. Today, we have some new details on Marvel Studios’ next two films, why Jeff Wadlow’s X-Force didn’t happen, and confirmation of an Atomic Blonde sequel. Meanwhile, Jake Gyllenhaal addresses those Batman rumors. Literally every single Marvel Studios movie so far has been rated PG-13, and Avengers: Infinity War is no exception.
