James Gunn Returns as Director for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3
Last summer, writer-director James Gunn was fired from Marvel‘s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The decision was made after the resurfacing of old tweets, which contained a lot of offensive jokes. Disney‘s decision was met with much criticism. In fact, the Guardians of the Galaxy cast released an open letter supporting Gunn. Since then, Gunn moved to DC, signing on to write and direct The Suicide Squad. But now, Disney has reversed its decision. Gunn is set to return as director for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. Why the change? Well, Disney chairman Alan Horn has met with Gunn multiple times after the firing, and he was impressed…

Kevin Feige Talks AVENGERS: ENDGAME Title and Marketing
Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige was in attendance at the 2019 Golden Globes last night, where Black Panther was up for Best Motion Picture – Drama and other categories. There, Feige was interviewed about the studio’s biggest movie yet, along with other teases on Marvel’s future. Speaking with MTV News, Feige addresses the secrecy for Avengers: Endgame. It was rumored that the title changed several times, most recently just before the trailer dropped. However, Feige says that the title was finalized very early in the film’s development. Are the Guardians in Trouble? Bautista Weighs In
It cannot be easy to be a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, considering the drama about James Gunn, but also the cast that is far from happy. However, there is one member of the crew that has been more opinionated to this firing than the rest, and that is Dave Bautista. Bautista recently spoke to Digital Spy, where he talked about something that I find worth mentioning. He mentions (although admitting that he is relatively unsure) that the issues when it comes to the third installment have gone so far that it might end up changing the fate of the galaxy traveling characters in Avengers 4. What do you think?…

As of right now, pre-production for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 has been delayed indefinitely. Dave Bautista Will Only Appear in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 on One Condition
James Gunn’s firing from the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise has sent shockwaves across social media. Despite the cast’s support of the filmmaker, Disney and Marvel are reportedly not planning to rehire him. No cast member has been more vocal than Dave Bautista, who plays Drax. Bautista has consistently praised Gunn and criticized Disney on Twitter, and in his latest comments, he shares his lack of interest in continuing the franchise without Gunn. On Twitter, Bautista said last night that he would do Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 just to fill contractual obligations. Clearly, he is unsatisfied by the idea of continuing in the role of Drax without the director…
