76 years after her conception, Wonder Woman is finally getting her own movie this summer. Following her introduction in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice last year, Gal Gadot’s Diana Prince headlines a solo venture in World War I, as we learn the beloved character’s origin story. To celebrate the release of Wonder Woman, we at Watchtower of Babel News are planning a week-long series of reviews, editorials, and other original posts. We begin on Saturday, May 27th. First Full-Length Trailer for Netflix’s THE DEFENDERS Released
This morning, Netflix released the first official trailer for its next Marvel series, The Defenders. The eight-episode miniseries is a crossover of all the previous shows, uniting Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. This unlikely team will face off against The Hand to save New York. The trailer is chock full of awesome action sequences, fun character interactions, and more. Check it out below, and stay tuned for more as we have it. All eight episodes of The Defenders will premiere on August 18th, 2017 on Netflix.

Watchtower of Babel News has some big plans underway for the months of July and August. First off, we would like to unveil the brand new site logo. Back in March, we created the very successful “25 Days of Batman v Superman” series. With DC’s next film, Suicide Squad, coming soon, we wanted to celebrate with something similar. So before we dig in, allow me to eat crow for a second. Ask anyone here at WOBAM Entertainment and they will tell you I said last fall that the DC/CW-Verse would never crossover with Supergirl.
