BATMAN V SUPERMAN: The People v The Critics
I had the pleasure of seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice twice now and I really enjoyed it. The one thing I noticed was the huge disparity between movie critics reviews of the film and fans reactions. The fans got to see the film at an IMAX event earlier this week and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Everyone talked about how this is one of their favorite superhero films ever, and how Zack Snyder is a visionary. The next day the media embargo lifted and news sites released their reviews of the film. The difference of opinion was shocking. Some critics said it was the worst superhero film in…

The game featured Darkseid, Brainiac and even Supergirl. for the full details watch the video below! This definitely sounded like a game worth buying. It’s a shame that it never got off the ground. New Details on Telltale’s BATMAN Game
During Telltale Games’ SXSW panel (via Comics Alliance), they revealed new details on their latest project titled, Batman: Telltale Unmasked. The game is scheduled to be released this summer, and will let us control the story as we see fit. This has been a staple in all of Telltale’s previous games. You will get some say in which of the Dark Knight’s personas deal with certain decisions. This will in turn impact later elements, and help shape your own personal version of Gotham City. Another thing that is common in most of their titles have a mature rating. This wouldn’t be the first time the Dark Knight was given an…

Review: BATMAN FOREVER
Batman Forever is the third film in the series of Tim Burton films. Here we have Joel Schumacher in the directors chair, and Burton as a producer. We also have new villains, a new sidekick, and even a new Batman! Mild spoilers are in this review (not that it matters), so consider this your final warning. “I’ll get drive-thru.” These are the first words spoken by the Dark Knight, and this is when I knew it was about to get ugly. The film starts out with Batman (Val Kilmer) doing his thing; he suits up and goes out to stop the villain Two-Face (Tommy Lee Jones). We also see Bruce…

Recap: SUPERGIRL Season One, Episode Sixteen ‘Falling’
WARNING: This review contains spoilers. This episode starts out really sweet; We see Kara doing what she does best, being Supergirl. She helps a young girl who is being bullied, and saves firemen from a burning building. Everything is going well for our heroine, and she seemingly saves the day. Unfortunately she is exposed to the newly discovered Red Kryptonite. A substance that mirrors Green Kryptonite’s affect Kryptonians, but it affects them mentally rather than physically. For most of the episode we are accompanied by who I like to call “Darth Kara”. She is fierce and is the complete opposite of the mild-mannered Girl Scout we’ve come accustomed to seeing.…

Review: BATMAN RETURNS
Batman Returns is director Tim Burton’s second (and final) Batman film. With action, drama, and tons of Burton’s flair; there’s a lot going on in this movie. Mild spoilers are a given in this review (the film is over 20 years old after all). So let’s dive in and take a look back at Batman Returns. The film starts with a flashback giving us our first look at (a baby) Oswald Cobblepot (Danny DeVito). Cobblepot was born with flippers for hands and a pointed nose, almost like a Penguin (get it?). Not only was Oswald born with these birth defects, he also had animal-like instincts. We even see him grab…

BATMAN V SUPERMAN Is Set To Break The Box Office
With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice being the first time the two legendary heroes unite on screen; it should be surprising that it is set to dominate the box office. The official tracking numbers for the film has just been released this morning. Via THR, Batman v Superman is set to make $140 million domestically and $300-340 million worldwide on opening weekend (March 25-27). Warner Bros. are going to be a little more cautious; they believe that number is closer to $110 million. Of course these numbers are not 100% accurate, and it can fluctuate up or down. Either way the film will have one of the biggest opening…

RECAP: SUPERGIRL: Season One, Episode Fifteen “Solitude”
WARNING: This review contains full spoilers from the episode. Last week we had Astra’s funeral, Lucy and James drama, and Kara being mad at Hank. This week we have talk about Astra’s funeral, Lucy and James drama, and Kara being mad at Hank. I think it’s safe to say that most of the themes from the last episode carried over. Thankfully this was another solid episode, and most of these storylines come to an end here. In this episode we see that Kara wants Winn and James to be her new team. She’s still mourning the loss of Astra, and is still holding a grudge against Hank. The entire Kara hates…
