Recap: SUPERGIRL S1 Finale “Better Angels”
WARNING: This review contains spoilers. The season has finally come to a close, and boy it was a doozy. We pick up right where we left off. Alex and Kara are in a battle to the death, and it’s very reminiscent of the fight in a certain Blockbuster movie released last month. Anyways, the fight is over fairly quickly and it ends with Mrs. Danvers giving a speech that brings Alex from get mind control. This leads into the symbol of Hope speech Kara gives in her broadcast across National City. I’m kinda iffy on the speech Kara gives; in fact this whole scenario fell flat. The entire city is going…

After last week’s fun and light-hearted crossover with The Flash; things took a turn for the worse. We see Non and Indigo’s plan come to fruition, and it’s not looking good for our heroine. Ashtra’s plan from the beginning has always been the Myriad virus. This will give her complete control of everyone in National City. Non is going to finish what his wife started and will take control of the city, and then the world. This is a job bigger than anything Supergirl has ever faced, and she needs all of…

Recap: SUPERGIRL S1 E18 “World’s Finest”
It’s worth mentioned that last week’s episode was another solid addition to an impressive rookie season. We saw Martian Manhunter’s transformation into Hank Henshaw, and the revelation that Alex’s father might still be alive! Sadly, we weren’t able to cover last week’s episode (blame Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), but we are back and we have new friend in town! This week we had the appearance of the Scarlet Speedster (Grant Gustin) in National City. This is the first crossover between The Flash and Supergirl. We didn’t know if they’d ever crossover with both shows on different networks (Flash on The CW, and Supergirl on CBS), but Greg Berlanti…
