SUPERGIRL Meets The Flash in Stills From S1E18 “Worlds Finest”; Season Finale Date Announced
We’re just a couple weeks away from the highly anticipated Supergirl/The Flash crossover episode, titled “Worlds Finest.” Today, CBS has released a few still images from the episode. The photos feature the two heroes united in costume, as well as civilian alter egos Kara Danvers and Barry Allen meeting. The Cast of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Will Appear on CONAN on March 31st
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is hitting theaters next week, and to promote the film, a few cast members have appeared on television. Gal Gadot appeared on Ellen this morning, while Henry Cavill and Jesse Eisenberg appeared on Good Morning America this week. And now, Conan O’Brien has booked the entire cast for his late-night show. According to Deadline, director Zack Snyder and the cast of Batman v Superman will appear March 31st on Conan. Advanced Ticket Sales for BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Are Outpacing DEADPOOL and THE AVENGERS
A couple weeks ago, tickets went on sale for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice – which finally hits theaters next week! So far, the advanced sales have been doing very well, but we now know exactly how well. In fact, it’s pacing ahead of advanced ticket sales for other recent blockbusters. According to Deadline, ticket sales for Batman v Superman are outpacing those for Deadpool, Furious 7 and even the first Avengers movie two weeks before their releases. So, far, the DC superhero ensemble has earned somewhere in the $20-25M range from advanced ticket sales. This figure is on par with The Dark Knight Rises, which had a $160.9M opening weekend…

Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill Confirmed to Star in BATMAN: THE KILLING JOKE Movie
After months of rumors and speculation, it has finally been confirmed. Via Comic Book Resources, veteran Batman and Joker actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill will reprise their roles in DC’s animated film, Batman: The Killing Joke. Based on the acclaimed yet controversial graphic novel, the movie will be executive produced by Batman: The Animated Series co-creator Bruce Timm. Additionally, Tara Strong will reprise her role as Barbara Gordon in the film. Since The New Batman Adventures, Strong has voiced the character in various animated movies and television shows. Rumor: Is DC Comics Planning a New TV Show Titled PENNYWORTH?
DC Entertainment has had much success on television in recent years, with shows such as Arrow, Gotham, Supergirl and The Flash all being very successful. Rumor has it that yet another series has entered development, but this one sounds…interesting, to say the least. According to Bleeding Cool, DC Comics has registered a trademark for the name Pennyworth, and the trademark “seems to be” for a new TV show. Of course, Batman fans will recognize the name as that of Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne’s trusted butler and ally. No further details are given for Pennyworth. The CW Officially Renews ARROW, THE FLASH, iZOMBIE and DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW for New Seasons
Today, The CW has announced its renewal of practically every show on its slate. Fortunately (and unsurprisingly), this means that all four of its DC/Vertigo shows will be back next season. Arrow, which launched the modern comic book television craze back in 2012, will return for its fifth season. The Flash, the network’s highest-rated show, and iZombie will both be back for their third seasons. And The CW’s 2016 midseason hit, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, will return for a second season. Review/Reflection: BATMAN (1989)
Tim Burton’s original Batman, released in 1989, is one of the most monumental films in comic book movie history. It formally kicked off the long-running Batman film franchise, which is still going to this day. It also showed that darker superhero movies can be very successful. But, does Batman still hold up to this day? There’s a lot to love in Batman 89. The dark tone works, even when incorporating comic book-ish elements. It’s a good middle-ground between the realistic tone of The Dark Knight Trilogy and the overt camp in Joel Schumacher’s films. Burton’s directorial work was good, as was the cinematography. And Danny Elfman’s score is just perfect.…

The CW Unveils Season Finale Dates for its Four DC Comics Shows
With the 2015-2016 television season ending in a couple months, The CW has announced the season finale dates for its slate of shows. These include the network’s four DC/Vertigo shows: Arrow, The Flash, iZombie and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. iZombie will finish its second season on Tuesday, April 12th at 9 PM EST. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, which premiered this midseason, will conclude its debut season on Thursday, May 19th at 8 PM EST. The Flash will end its second season on Tuesday, May 24th at 8 PM EST.
