ABC Moving Forward with Marvel Show About Female Superheroes from WONDER WOMAN Writer
Marvel TV has been growing bigger and bigger every year, but it originally began on ABC with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in 2013. Since then, the two have collaborated on Agent Carter and Inhumans, which were both short-lived, while Freeform has Cloak and Dagger. But ABC has talked about bringing in a new Marvel series soon, specifically with a female lead. And now, it’s moving forward. Wonder Woman writer Allan Heinberg is developing an untitled Marvel series for ABC, which has given it a production commitment. The show is about female superheroes in the Marvel Universe, and it is expected to focus on lesser-known characters. No word on who exactly those characters…

Live-Action Avatar: The Last Airbender Reboot In The Works At Netflix
A live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender series is in the works at Netflix with the original series creators involved. After the massive disappointment that was 2010’s The Last Airbender, it seemed like it would only be a pipe dream (or really a total and utter nightmare) that we would get a sequel let alone a franchise. Fans of the hit Nickelodeon cartoon from the mid-2000s have been clamoring for a more accurate live-action take on the source material, and now it looks like they will finally get their wish. Netflix has announced that a live-action series is in development. Deadline reports that the new series will be made in partnership with Nickelodeon…

Arrowverse’s Batwoman Crossover Casts Cassandra Jean Amell as Nora Fries
This year’s Arrowverse crossover event is a big one, despite not involving Legends of Tomorrow. The event introduces Batwoman and Lois Lane to the universe, while Superman is returning. Now, The CW has announced another key addition. Cassandra Jean Amell – aka the real-life wife of Arrow star Stephen Amell – is set to play Nora Fries in the crossover. Fries is the wife of Batman villain Victor Fries, aka Mr. Freeze. However, don’t expect the cool villain to show up and break the ice in the event. Amell’s past credits include America’s Next Top Model, Mad Men, and more. Nora’s exact role in the crossover is being kept under…

Shane West Joins GOTHAM Season 5 in Villainous Role
Gotham seems to be a show that you either love or hate. Everywhere, from YouTube to social media, the only reactions to the show I see is either “this is the best show ever” or “I hate this ….. show.” I’ve yet to find anyone that seems to be in the middle with its taste. Anyway, with it gearing up to its final season, Gotham seems to have added yet another villain to its roster. Enter Shane West, who, according to Deadline, is playing Eduardo Dorrance which is an old war buddy of Jim Gordon (played by Ben McKenzie.). Any big fan of Batman lore more than likely recognizes that…

SWAMP THING Writer Teases Costume and Hard R-Rated Approach
For you that are unaware, DC Comics’ upcoming Swamp Thing show and recent Conjuring spinoff The Nun share screenwriters. But I guess that’s Nun of my business. During an interview with /Film, Gary Dauberman talks about Swamp Thing among some other stuff. He confirms that, just like Titans, the show will be rated R (and a hard one at that). They want to try and push it as hard as they can. He also confirmed that Alan Moore’s run of the creature is their main inspiration, and he mentioned that the creature will not be CGI but an actual suit. What do you think about this? Comment below and let…

Review: DRAGON BALL HEROES Episode 3
I don’t know if I should laugh or not considering what I wrote in my episode two review, which you can find HERE. There, I mention how every episode should premiere closer to each other, and after that, Toei Animation waits, about two months, instead of the two weeks that we had last time. I know that you probably won’t read this Toei, but if your main focus is on Dragon Ball Super Broly, why didn’t you wait with this then? It’s quite clear that their main focus is on the movie, considering the animation is for this episode is BAD. Some scenes reminded me of when Berus fought Goku…

Review: VIDEO GIRL AI
Youta, who is the stereotypical loser in the classroom, find his life changed when a video girl from a VHS tape he rents comes to life. Raise your hand if you even knew of this property. I see a few in the back. Anyone else? Hmmmm… I guess I shouldn’t be surprised. Anyways. I have had this anime on my radar for quite some time, and I’m glad that I finally was able to watch it. Why? There is a lot to talk about when it comes to this property. At first glance, it might come out as a generic, romantic anime. However, once you look at it closely, you’ll…
