FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 3×11 – “Dead or Alive”
The Flash (3×11) – “Dead or Alive” Written by: Zack Stentz Story by: Benjamin Raab & Deric A Hughes Directed by: Harry Jierjian Digging right in this week. After a pretty meaningless dream sequence from HR Wells we open with Barry and Wally chasing down some gun runners. It looks like the speedsters are working well together and Barry even lets Wally take a bow (and a selfie) with the high school cheerleaders they save before he leaves behind a flaming lightning bolt. Bad call Barry, the flaming logo is a DareDevil thing that’s gimmick infringement and he’s a lawyer. Back at STAR Labs, new teammate Julian has…

Review: LEGO JUSTICE LEAGUE: GOTHAM CITY BREAK OUT
LEGO DC Super Heroes: Justice League: Gotham City Break Out (try saying that three times fast), is the sixth film set in the DC LEGO Universe (DCLU?). It’s the anniversary of Batman’s (Troy Baker) first mission, and to celebrate Batgirl (Sarah Hyland) and Nightwing (Will Friedle) take Batman out on a much needed vacation. Batman is reluctant to leave Gotham City unprotected, but Superman (Nolan North) and Robin (Scott Menville) are willing to fill in for the Caped Crusader. Superman underestimates the power of Batman’s villains and that leads to some pretty funny moments. The film shines when it’s Superman and and the Justice League trying to stop the Batman’s rogues.…

Review: POWERLESS S1 E1 “Wayne or Lose”
The seventh live action DC Comics show, Powerless is a comedy set in a mash up DC Universe. Our main character is Emily (Vanessa Hudgens), a girl from a small town looking to make a difference. It’s Emily’s first day at Wayne Security, and here we meet the rest of our cast; Her boss, Van Wayne (Alan Tudyk), and coworkers, Ron (Ron Funches), Teddy (Danny Pudi), and Jackie (Christina Kirk). Located in Charm City, Wayne Security is an offshoot of the bigger Wayne Enterprise. This division of the company is struggling to stay afloat. Our team needs to come up with an all-new product before Bruce Wayne shuts them down.…

Ben Affleck Won’t Direct THE BATMAN After All
For the past couple years, Ben Affleck has been attached to direct his own solo Batman movie, which he will also star in. The project is tentatively titled The Batman, and he is co-writing the script with Geoff Johns. But in recent weeks, Affleck has repeatedly discusses his involvement during press junkets, and the excessive attention clearly put pressure on him. Now, the movie needs a new director.
